Spectrum in Four Seasons: MELT WATER

MELT WATER

Spring is coming. Water pours off rock faces and down the fells as the snow and ice begin to melt in the weak sunshine. The rivers are in spate and this is beautifully represented by the ruffles of the skirt, whilst the hood reminds us that despite an upturn the weather is still unpredictable.

This is a beautiful haute couture creation comprising a sleeveless, hooded blouse made from silk, beneath a panelled corset of blue-grey taffeta shot with gold. The skirt is taffeta with silk, gathered at one side in a pattern representing fast flowing water. The outfit also incorporates delicate ivory jacquard silk, woven with a pretty floral design. Melt Water is a very flexible, multi-functional design. The top and corset could even be worn separately. It is equally suitable as a cocktail dress or a wedding outfit.

Melt Water is a unique, one-off design for exhibition purposes. It can be recreated to your size and with your choice of fabrics.
Once the design has been sold it will not be repeated.
