ICE MAIDEN

Deep mid-winter: frozen waterfalls, skeletons of ice encrusted branches, frosted leaves and a muffled, silence, disturned only by the crunch of your footsteps in the deep snow.

This is the dress for the ice wedding - complete with a bouquet of frosted lavender and glittering Swarovski! crystals. The dress is crafted from silk taffeta in two parts, a bodice and an A-line skirt. the bodice is embellished with a collar of icicles created with silver, metallic thread and Swarovski crystals, and a hand-made ice flower. The back of the skirt has a cascade of frosted leaves edged with metallic thread and held in place with Swarovski crstals. The fascinator is edged by metallic thread and comprises a short veil, silk taffeta flowers and a cluster of large Swarovski crystals.

The Ice Maiden is a unique, one-off design for exhibition purposes. It can be recreated to your size and with your choice of fabrics.
Once the design has been sold it will not be repeated.
