Spectrum in Four Seasons: HARVEST MOON
The nights are already closing in, but the huge harvest moon, hovering over the horizon bathes the countryside with its soft light, guiding the busy farmer as he brings in the harvest. Summer has given way to Autumn, or Fall, a season dominated by themes of red - the intense hues of berries such as rosehips and rowan, fairytale toadstools and the dazzling spectacle of the autumn leaves: the deep blood red of the Maples to the brilliance of the Virgnia Creeper draped over the dry stone walls. Then there are the darker hues of the ripe wine grapes or of jams bubbling in bright copper pans, and the excitement of bonfires and fireworks.
Harvest Moon is a luxuriant silk chiffon, evening gown with an assymetrical cleavage in the shape of a crescent moon. This beautiful dress is embellished with a chain of autumn berries, and a wine coloured feathers, and is lined to just above the knees. The bodice is shaped by internal boning. One side of the bust is gathered chiffon whilst the other side is embellished by a criss-cross pattern of silk.

Harvest Moon is a unique, one-off design for exhibition purposes. It can be recreated to your size and with your choice of fabrics.
Once the design has been sold it will not be repeated.
